Welcome To San Diego Animal Rescue!! We are pleased if you are thinking about adopting an animal. There are many too many animals needing a home. If you don't find what you are looking for here, we encurage you to check other rescue organizations, or your local animal shelter. Or, just keep checking back here, we get new animals weekly who would love to find a family with a forever home.
San Diego Animal Rescue is committed to finding the best matches between animal and famliy. Please bare with us as we construct our site. We now have some photos up, with more to follow. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in any of our pictured adoptables. WE ALSO TAKE IN ANIMALS IN NEED OF PLACEMENT, and take in litters, and have the mother spayed free of charge to the owner. WE CAN ALSO OFFER ADVICE AND OTHER SUPPORT IN HELPING YOU TRAIN/KEEP/ALTER YOUR PET. Thakyou to Petsmart for hosting our weekly adoption events. Thankyou to all the vendors who donate food, and all of those who adopted some of our homeless animals. THIS WEEKEND, Fri, & Sat April 14th and 15th, WE WILL BE BACK AT PETSMART SANTEE (on Mission Gorge Road, in Santee Trolley Square). After this weekend, we will be continuing to do our adoption events at Petsmart in Santee, every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 3pm, until further notice. URGENT!!!l We currently have three dogs requiring medical care, and as our vet costs rise we are looking for donations to their care. Chiquita is a sweet little Chi mix with a hernia that requires suregery. Lucita is a beautiful and sweet Bichon with a foxtail so deep in her ear, she needs sedation and possibly surgery to remove it. Last, but certainly not least, is inteligent, sweet, and loving Chance. Chance is a 1 1/2 year old Yellow Lab with serious hip displaysia and may need surgery in both hips. If you are interested in making a donation to one of these dogs care, please contact us so we may direct you to the vet they are currently recieving care from, and so that you may get a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
FEATURED PET: This weeks Featured pet is MiMi, our mini mew! MiMi is a long haired ragdoll type Munchkin. Munchkins are like low riders, average sized cats with mini legs. MiMi is very sweet, and loves affection. She would be best in a home with no dogs, as she is terrified of them. MiMi is an indoors only cat, as she is declawed. Come on down to PetSmart in Santee this weekend to meet her. (Be sure to ask about her if you don't see her, she may be in the grooming department getting pampered). |
